Stopsley Baptist Church is a well known church in Luton. Conveniently located in Stopsley, Luton, we are easily accessed by rail, car or bus and only a 5 minute drive from Luton airport.
We have many rooms that can be hired out. We are an ideal setting for a wide range of events; conferences, meetings, training, private functions and community use. They are all flexible spaces of various sizes to suit every need. The venue already hosts several very successful weekly classes from Pilates to Weight Watchers.

We have 7 rooms of various sizes ranging from a small meeting room for 10 to a large auditorium which seats 700 and has a full audio, visual system. SBC also offers the flexibility to hire several spaces as either breakout rooms or to host several activities at once.
Wi-Fi and Technical assistance is available as well as conferencing equipment, including, digital projectors, screens, flipcharts, DVD. In addition to this we can provide photocopying and facsimile services. Please ask for details.
We have a brilliant lounge cafe on site and we are able to provide refreshments and a hot or cold buffet for your delegates directly to your room. Special dietary requirements can be catered for upon request.
We have a free car park on site and the optional use of the Stopsley High School car park next door if necessary and when it is available.
We are happy to provide all layout styles, just tell us what you require, if you are unsure, please contact us for help and advice on what is most suitable for you. We aim to work with you to make your event successful and are always available to answer any questions you might have.
Our Conference and Meeting Rooms
Room 1, 2 and 3 are all light, spacious rooms that can be used separately or combined to form one large hall. As separate rooms they will seat a maximum of 30 people and are fully sound proofed. As one large room it will seat 100. We can configure the room to meet your specific requirements.
Room 4 is a large family fun room which is run by our Childrenӳ Centre. This room can be hired for childrenӳ parties on a Saturday by members of Childrenӳ Centre activities and SBC members only. This room has a capacity of approx 100.
Room 5/6 is a large, comfortable and flexible space that can seat up to 35. This room can also be divided in to 2 smaller rooms.
Room 7 is a smaller, intimate room, perfect for meetings or seminars. It has adaptable conference furniture and comfortably seats up to 15.
The main auditorium is spacious and flexible ֠seating a maximum of 700, it is one of the largest meeting spaces in the Luton area and boasts excellent acoustics and is equipped with a full audio, visual system. Staging, lighting and various layouts are all available and the adjoining balcony is ideal for serving refreshments and registering guests.
